They serve a purpose!

I bought these to use in my casting deck mounted vertical rod holders; to troll lines off the rear of the boat. They seem like they're pretty well made, but were slightly less diameter than expected , and a little thin walled. they did come with retention lanyards, but be careful! The ( rather heavy) clips on the end can slip right off the lanyard.
Pros
- Looks good , decently well made. ( As always) fast shipping from TD.
Cons
- Slightly thin walled given the height and stress that could be put on them. Clip for the lanyard isn't secured to the lanyard. , no 45* gimbal notch- but that's just being picky.. :)
