I have purchased these covers for every rod I own. overall they are good for their cost. there are a few that are nicer as they come with a little strap to wrap around the reel to keep the sleeve anchored but these will do the job and i liked the color options

Great product for protecting your rod; however make sure to do your homework before purchasing. The rod glove can be ordered in various lengths to suit your needs. Also, their largest model has some difficulty getting over the guides of the larger surf rods.

I have one for every rod I own, helps keep my rod from getting scratched and eyes from being damaged. I've had some trouble with the spinning gloves fitting over the reduction eyes on my beefier saltwater rods but after some futsing it works.

Hello Mike,
The vrx rod gloves do not have the loop to hold onto the reel handle. Outkast Tackle has a rod sleeve that does both in spinning and casting.
