Beast product

You can tell immediately this is way stronger than the average snaps, it's thick and the design is stronger although it's small (size 1). Definitely a fantastic product. I wish they had an even smaller size than 1.

Better than TA clip for metals
May 2, 2021
I like these snaps for attaching directly to metals like kastmasters and Hopkins because I can use very small ones (size 8) that are strong enough. If using TA clip I have to go to much larger size to fit over the hole in the spoon or add a split ring that is another potential failure. Never had one of these fail.
Pros
  • Smallest strong clip I have found for attaching directly to metals.
  • Reliable
Cons
  • Cant find them in any local shops. Have to get them online.

There is no getting around knot tying
March 29, 2020
I'm new to the NJ shore game and guys we're telling me about using "clips" to attach my lures too. So, I got this one instead of the more popular "TA clip." I used clips once growing up and remembered how a fish bent the clip and I lost my lure. Hence, my displeasure for using such gear. On my most recent fishing outing I caught a schoolie and unhooked the fish then went to cast and my $17 lure went flying! Should I have checked the clip prior to casting? Hindsight is funny like that. I didn't think that a 90lbs rated clip would bend so quickly on such a small fish... Lesson learned!
Pros
  • You won't have to tie a knot again and again 😂
Cons
  • You most likely will lose whatever lure you're casting if you catch a fish on it, if you don't check the clip.
  • There is no getting around knot tying!

Quality Snap

The snaps seem to be a well-made snap. I like the “streamline” design and the snap seems to lock in better than most snaps I’ve used
Pros
  • Streamline design
  • Stainless steel construction
  • Seem to lock in more securely then other snaps
Cons
  • None
