The VMC Swinging Rugby Jigs are designed with an articulated, free swimming jig head and an extra long z-bend hook leg that allows for soft plastic baits to have a more natural action when retrieved. The head of the jig is a cross between a football head jig and a round-ball head jig, which resembles a rugby ball. A recessed line tie also allows the jig to pass through cover and vegetation with ease compared to other jigs on the market.

I am a novice bass fisherman and started fishing with plastics in 1978. I had to take a break from fishing for life events. I started fishing a well-known Bass lake in 2016. There were a lot of bass taken and I asked what bait was being used and found out it was Gary Yamanoto creature bait. I purchased the bait but had a problem with getting the right hooks and sinkers. This hook was recommended and it is a perfect fit for this bait. Pick the weight and color that works for you and enjoy the fishing. I tried locating these at Cabela’s and Bass Pro with no luck. Tackle Direct delivered on a wide variety. Thanks TD these are a blast combo for Bass on the right waters.
