I was searching for replacement hook for either Shimano Colt Sniper or Mega Bait jig. Sometimes the OEM treble hooks are low strength metal and it will bend. Got recommend to try VMC hooks and now these are my go to. They are sharp and higher strength then original hooks come from your jig. Tips: get stronger split ring and a pair of good split ring plier and you are good to go!

I use these to replace SP Minnow trebles which have bent on me on medium to large jacks. Size 2/0 is just as big as I would go for inshore plugs.

It gets harder to find the smaller trebles in a strong hook for saltwater. These are the best I have found so far.

These things are beasts. Originally bought them when I couldn't find the 4x VMC trebels for my daiwa sp minnows. Super sharp out of the box and hold up great to everything I've thrown at them. Only complaint is a minor one...I like to change my VMC trebels to open eye books so I can use them with swivels on my sps...these are extremely difficult to cut so I don't do that any more.

i would like to have had these in a short shank but either way great replacement for rapalas offshore kingfishing.

These hooks are very strong, every lure I use has these on it and I never have to worry about them bending on a big fish.

These are seriously impressive trebles - indestructible. Just put on 2 Daiwa SP Minnows. I bought 1/0s but plan on buying some 2/0s as well and changing out some more of my hardware.
