I got sizes 00 and 1 (0 wasn't available), but I was mostly interested in size 00 as I was looking for snaps that are strong and very small. These snaps don't disappoint at all! I've also tested their strength cause I found it hard to believe the size 00 could hold 20lb, so I tied it to a 20lb braid line and pulled 25lb before the line broke, and the snap didn't bend or deform or break. Definitely recommend this product.

Snap is strong and easy to tie on line. Snap does not catch weeds due to smart direction VMC bent the wire. Snap provides quick changes of lures. Also provides more movement (similar to a loop knot) for finesse baits, jerkbaits and topwaters to have more natural action when idle or twitched. Use even when fishing jigs, shaky heads and other bottom lures/plastics since jig head is in the dirt/weed/bottom anyway, the fish don't see the snap.

I find this snap a must as long as you use a high end barrel swivel on top of your leader.
I fish with magic swimmers for 70% of the time and with snap swivels ( in some condishions) the line fowels and it really sucks blowing the cast when the fish are hitting :-/
With this snap, it just about wipes out the problem. Great product!

Great little clip. Strong enough for a large bluefish

I fish this on 60 lb fluoro when I am throwing lures or flies for pike. I have caught many quality fish while using these snaps and they have yet to fail me. They do not straighten out, even on the insanely strong initial strike that often happens with big northerns. I would recommend this to anyone who changes lures/flies a lot. It saves you a lot of money and time when you don't have to retie fluorocarbon every time you want to change out a bait.
