circle hooks are the best! I'm actually writing the review of these for the benefit of you and the fish
12/0 is perfect for small to medium sharks and tuna and these things don't fail. Hypodermic needle sharp and don't bend on you. Go bigger if you are after a 2000 lb tigershark, but these are fine for the average person won't gut hook the fish 90% of the time. ( i feel the need to stress this plus they improve hookup rate)
