Great price for amount of hooks

I have used vmc hooks for a while now and the quality has been good. I recently purchased these since i use the 1/0 and up with no problem. The latest batch of these size 1 hooks i have had about 30 percent of the hooks tips break off either fighting the fish or removing the hook from the fish. Possibly a bad batch but im not sure.
