Price is an issue in the absence of quality. These pliers are expensive I’ve had mine for 10 years now I bought this pair as a birthday gift .

This Van Staal pliers is absolutely amazing used it last weekend offshore fishing will cut just about anything from braided line to wire line with ease It's pricey but well worth every dollar
