Didn't come with documentation. Had to search and found a video showing how to install. There is definitely a proper technique to getting the retaining rings off. None of the videos I watched explained or showed that technique. I ended up scratching the reel multiple times trying to get the retaining rings off before I discovered said technique. Now, that being said, it's a sweet conversion kit. Fits perfect, seems strong & legit. Giving it 5 stars despite not coming with instructions because it's awesome.
