Been using blueheavier dacron to fish bigger bluefin tuna on outter banks. The dacron has been producing bluefin over 150lbs, Works great for casting poppers and knife jigs.
Pros
- No stretch! Doesn't fray during long fights! Little more capacity than mono! IGFA rated for weight classes for angling clubs.
Cons
- No stretch! It also works against at times.
