The Tsunami Zig Jig Pro lures have what it takes to put more game fish on the deck or on the beach. These lures feature a tank tested design that delivers both darting, and zig zag swimming action. The fast sink rate and darting zig zag action grab the attention of game fish immediately. With a precision balanced high strength body, this assures longer tumble-free casts with a fast sink rate. These lures are the real fish catching pros with extra sharp premium hooks anchored by a stainless steel through wire.

Great for macks
November 30, 2020
I use this on the beach, jetty, piers for mackerels. I changed the treble hooks to single though. I few less hook ups, but I stopped the bloody double treble hook gills, eyes, jaws nonsense. Much easier to get the fish off. The treble hooks on these suck anyway. Used VMC inline single hooks. I recorded myself doing the hook change. When I get time the hook changing process is going on youtube.
Pros
  • kills small pelagic near the beach, piers and jettys.
Cons
  • small, weak treble hooks

Just a must have saltwater classic

Tsunami jigs are an absolute must have for a salt water fishing trip. These have caught fish from shore, bridges, piers or boats for as long as I can remember. Simply deadly on Spanish Mackerel and easy to use. You really can't fish them wrong. Cast as far as you can and reel back as fast and erratic as you can for fast swimming spanish.

I have had this lure forever in by tackle box and can never find a situation when I would chose this lure over some of the other lures that I owned. I have tried it and never liked the action. I bought this lure because of a friend of mine recommended it. However I just can't see how I would fish this lure over some of the other lures that I have.
Cons
  • Weird action
  • Better lures on the market

Great Lures

Would like to be able to swap hooks out easier. Design makes it a little difficult to quickly swap hooks. Great action in the water and competitive price from Tackle Direct

There are actually quite a few older ones that are not just flat colors. All and all though, it does the job very well.

Before i came to the US i had never seen this type of lure.
A friend of mine told me to try it out cause it was killer on bluefish of the pier.
I most say he was right. Strong hooks and wired body, just a very reliable lure!
