We cast off our dock with these with the kids. We've pulled up rockfish, spot, perch and catfish with them. They are inexpensive and pretty tough little baits. They get a lot of action at night when we have the fish light on and they stay together well.

Have yet to get any bites from my intended species on them( fluke), but bluefish certainly love to bite them in half on the way down to the bottom of the deeper channels.

I support this company fully, they DO NOT make shabby products. I have whacked quite a few fluke on these with the lure by itself and with a killie attached. anyone looking at new poles should check out the trophy series. That is my everyday use pole and it is more sensative than my fathers 300 custom pole. He even switched ove to the same one i use after he felt it and was shocked.
