NICE WELL MADE TROLLING RODS FOR THE MONEY
January 10, 2016
I have not yet used these rods since I purchased them during the winter. I have outfitted them with shimano tekota 700's and depth hunter braided line to use anything from mojo rigs to umbrellas to stretches.
I do own and also use Tony Maja rods with Tekota 800's with wire line but those are strictly for my bunker spoons....If you plan on using strictly for spoons then the tony mama's do the job but at double the price... if you plan on using different rigs then these should get the job done.... nice quality for the money

Decent Starter Rod
June 9, 2014
I bought this rod because this spring is the first time I've given wire lining spoons a serious go. I didn't want to break the bank so went with this one. I've trolled it 3 times now and have brought in a few decent stripers. It gives the requisite "pulsing" while trolling and it has decent power with a fish on. Overall, a good rod for the price.
