Lightweight & Sensitive

Overall another great Tsunami rod. However, wouldn't suggest for bucktailing over 1 oz, a little to soft a tip for that.
Pros
  • Light, Strong backbone, Sensitive
Cons
  • Soft tip for anything over 1oz bucktail jigging

A great rod and even a better value for the price. I have matched it with a Daiwa Tatula 150 and plan to use it for fluking and porgies

Great Action
April 3, 2019
Used the rod over the weekend fishing near Freeport. The rod is light, and sensitive. It has great action, and casts very well. I paired it with a 13 Fishing Concept Z reel, and it casts a mile. I love the setup. I bought it on a special buy for $40......very happy and would recommend even at regular price.

best rods out there for the price

The rods this company produces are amazing. I live right down the road from them funny enough, but more importantly is the quality that their poles give you versus the price you pay for them. My stand up 80-100 conventional is so sensitive that you can not only feel every lump and bump on the bottom, and every strike, but also tough as nails on big fish. I have caught dorado,Small tuna, brown sharks, blue sharks, and even small threshers on this brand of rods with zero problems

Unbelievable value. This is an excellent rod that is well built with high quality components. Matches well with a Tsunami Shield 3000. My new go to rod.

I would recommend pairing this rod with a Shimano Tranx 300 or 400, or a Daiwa Coastal

Is this good for redfish Trout black drum and flounder?
1 Answer
This rod would be well suited for casting light lures such as soft plastics on jig-heads or small live baits for the particular species you'll be fishing for.
