Misleading.......

These rods are extremely light. I've been able to fish them all day without issues. The backbone is solid and the tips are very responsive.

Best pole I have ever used for Yellowtail
September 9, 2018
It took me years to find this pole and now I have 5 of them. Great light weight pole for medium size fish. Light weight and will not wear you out when jigging.
Pros
  • Light weight with plenty of play. Well Made.
Cons
  • They discontinued the rod one level up that was a great rod. 80 -125 pound test

best rod out there for the price
July 17, 2018
They are literally manufactured around the corner from where i live ( less than 5 miles) in Mahwah NJ and are truly fantastic. I would recommend this company to anyone, plain and simple. This is my current pole from bottom fishing to Mahi Mahi and even smaller sharks. I even caught a 300+lb shark on my tsunami reel rated for 40 lb and my tsunami pole rated for 80-100 pound line in a chum slick 10 ft from the boat and wrenched him in. My father went out and bought a $300 custom rod years back for it's lightness and sensitivity, but when i handed him my rod to hold so i could get a sandwich, he he wouldn't give it back and went out and bought one of these. The thing is so sensitive you can literally feel the types of ocean floor terrain you are on, and distinguish bites from that, and also it is light as a feather.

Pros
  • Well worth the money. Very sensitive. Light as a feather. Strong poles. Very good looking.
Cons
  • Absolutely none. Best rod i have ever used, and i have used a lot!

Have this rod paired with a Lexa 300 $ #30 braid. Easily handled a 7oz. trendsetter jig and pulled up a couple of nice sized Lings.
Pros
  • great price point, good rod for bottom fishing.
Cons
  • light tip & would be worried about casting anything ove 5oz.

What reels would pair well with the TSAWBCJ-661MH?  Could you give me a few recommendations?  Thanks.
1 Answer
Check out the Avet SX models these reels are perfect sized and pair best with jigging rods like these. Also with a full metal body and compact design will fit comfortably in your hand. Check them out at: https://www.tackledirect.com/avet-sx-single-speed-lever-drag-casting-reels.html
