All of these lures are tank tested to assure proper performance and strike triggering action. Precise weight balancing designs in all models ensure a tumble free casting performance. The field testing is also apparent in a better-balanced swimming or jigging action. These models are available in a variety of sizes and colors.

I got the 3" swimmer for my wife. They cast well and have a killer tail action for the size.
Pros
  • Pre rigged!
Cons
  • None

great lure, limited life with toothy fish

As weighted salt lures go, this one is the old reliable. I only need 2 colors, black back for day, and blue back for night.
Put my salt-newbie friend on a moving tide pass where there should have been fish, he caught 5 before I could turn around, and 20 in a couple of hours. I began with my favorite cocahoe and switched to the same black back with better results.
Night fishing the lights on an Arroyo dock, blue back was one of my change up choices casting to schoolie fish sign. I was getting a fish every 3rd cast.
Saw a 30" snook creep by our dock right under my feet to the next dark dock. When I heard his feeding slashes, threw my blue back over there and he sucked it in instantly. Unfortunately, my drag was set for schoolie specs, it was still dark before coffee, and I broke him off.
Bottom bouncing in passes has caught me nice flounder.
I was disappointed when they discontinued the 2-inch lures, because they were the perfect choice for matching bait size, also rigging tandems, and sight-fished 22" and 23" specs for me.
You could say the Tsunami swim shad copied another lure out there, but you get twice as many of these for the same price.
Pros
  • Great price, great holographic colors, everything eats them.
Cons
  • they come apart after enough fish
