these are awesome. you can rig the light or heavy depending on what you are doing with a jig head.

I use these on my dock and the schooling rockfish love them. We also use the larger ones as teasers on our umbrella rigs.

Saw a buddy of mine who is a charter captain and thought he was nuts
July 11, 2018
Then again sometimes i use whole 6in squid for fluke and decided to try it, after all people do catch big fish on whole squid and there are squid teasers on most fluke rigs, right? Worked fine but the legs get bit off by smaller squid quite often. I literally live close enough to Tsunami headquarters ( about a 5 minute drive) to complain about that if i wanted to, but if you want to catch a lunker these are worth it.

Great for Fluke
May 10, 2016
I use both the 4 and 6 inch in pink and glow for fluking with great success....i always thought the 6 inch was to big until i saw a buddy using them. Only complaint is the "tentacles" rip off pretty easily from the fluke teeth

I use the 4 inch as well as the 6 inch (pink and glow) on my fluke rigs and have great results. The cheapest i can find them is on tackle direct.

Love using these (pink and the glow color) for my deep water fluke rigs...i use the smaller size as well but prefer the larger 6 inch. The also hold up pretty well against the fluke teeth.
Pros
  • Price is great, catches fish and holds up against the flukes teeth
