Got these pliers as a promo with a surf rod. The pliers are lightweight, they won't rust since it's aluminum, comes with a nice pouch and strap. However the teeth on the pliers are a little soft as they already show some damage after unhooking a few fish.

Just got back from a fishing trip to Lake Baccarac in Mexico and used the pliers extensively. Worked very well and the grooved cushion on the jaws stopped the pliers from slipping during removal.....very helpful!

Love the weight, and the cutters cut both braid and mono like butter....But after removing an inline spinner from a pike I noticed the jaws were bent...I bent it back but to bend a plier on a size 4 treble tells me they arent up to the task.
Did I get a defective one? Anyone else have this happen? Tsunami is very good on warranties.
