Thought it was a; little pricey but after having to replace all my ugly sticks due to the guides coming undone It is worth the price

Is the 7 foot version of this rod suitable for light tackle surfcasting for stripers and what reels under $250 would you recommend.

The 8 foot would be a better choice for light surf casting. A Shimano stradic FK 4000 would be a good pairing reel.

Tsunami TSAWEIS-721MF Airwave Elite Inshore Spinning Rod.  What colors is it?

David, a majority of the rod is graphite with a gloss finish. The lower section where the logo and name are is a grayish green color.
