Needs to be a little bigger ‘taller. So the ice in the bottom alows the cans too fit better.

When I got mine I found that adding a 1/2 inch of water to the bottom of the cooler then freeze the whole thing
When ready to use install any can of soda or beer. Keep them in the collier this way until ready to drink and it keeps your drink cold to the last sip. And the water / ice does not leak out When I get home I just refreeze with the old used can still inside It works for bottles also.
