Great rod

I have been using this rod for about 10 years and it has never let me down. It is light weight and strong.

Great Surf Option

This rod has a very attractive cork butt and is outfitted with a very strong reel seat, the glossy black coating on the blank is aesthetically pleasing. The blank is very stiff but also sensitive and provides plenty of rigidity for long casts from the surf. The downside to this rod are the guides. The guides are not finished very well and are very brittle the rod came with a guide shattered during shipping and one with blotted epoxy within the eye. TackleDirect got another one out to me quickly. The second one didn’t have any problems and has been good so far.

This is one of the better rods for the money. I have caught four citation Red Drum on this rod and it preformed as good as any more expensive rod.

Great Surf Rod

Received it in a firm cardboard tub with airbags in it. It’s a Heavy action rod with a stiff tip but great casting distance with a 200g sinker.
