The Thundermist Stingeye Spinner is a unique twist on the classic inline spinnerbait. The Stingeye features a realistic 3D eye that serves as a natural looking fish attractor. Able to be fished at various depths and retrieval speeds, the Stingeye is a highly productive, multi-species lure suitable for use in both fresh and saltwater applications. Its compact profile makes it a fantastic caster while the single spinner blade emits enough flash and vibration to call fish from a distance without spooking finicky fish by being overly flashy. All models are fitted with black nickel Mustad treble hooks.

This is the go to spinner if you need to get into the strike zone quick. Very nice in the wind too. I wish they came in more colors!

Saw it on a YouTube video and thought I would give it a try. Casts and spins well. Has good visibility in the water. Looking to troll it in deeper water from my kayak.
Pros
  • Casts and spins well
  • Good visibility in the water
Cons
  • Little on the big side for some of the water I fish

Trout spinner

I bought this smaller size for trout because I have had success with the larger size for smallmouth. I expect it to perform as the larger ones have and land some nice trout.

What size do you recommend for steelhead and salmon
1 Answer
All sizes would work. Would lean on smaller sizes for smaller bodies of water.

What size sting eye for river fishing 1/8 or 1/4 for steel head fishing in current and shallow water about 5ft or less
1 Answer
The Thundermist Stingeye Spinner will work at bothweights in shallow moving water. Though the ¼ come with a larger hook and Iwould lean towards that.
