The Tady #45 Lures with treble hook are easy to fish and provide great action in the water. Perfect for vertical jigging. These lures are made of light metal alloys. These lures will run 6 to 8 inches sub surface, delivering an erratic side to side swim. Also known as "Surface iron", these lures are most deadly when used on surfaces feeding fish. Retrieve these lures at medium to slow speeds to maximize its action. Great for Boat anglers and Surf casters. Deadly on East Coast Stripers , Bluefish and West Coast yellowtail.

  • Great trebble hook
  • Smooth retrieve and great action in the water
  • Cost is just about right for the quality
Cons
  • Hard to decide between the green mint/White and the Blue/white. Get one of each

Mint/White - Blue/White - Scrambled Egg seem to do the trick.

Cast a mile and nice action

Learned about Tady lures while fishing in San Diego. These lures are a staple while tuna fishing. The guy at the tackle shop said these will also work in the northeast for stripers and I’m sure for blues too.
Pros
  • Durable solid rings, nice action.
Cons
  • Paint scratches off with each bite. An epoxy coating would have been a nice touch.
