As I get ready for my first trip to the Keys, thanks to my wife's 80th birthday gift, I look froward to give this new tackle connector a good trial on my first Tarpon !!!
I find my finger strength diminishing along with other, "Getten' old trates", Most snap swivels are too strong and this product makes lure or leader hook up very easy!!!

Tactical Angler Power Clips : Stick With The Best

If you haven't yet incorporated clips into your tackle box - you will. When you do, use Tactical Angler Power Clips. The other clips I've tried are difficult to manipulate and use - which sort of defeats their purpose. After three years of using Tactical clips, none has failed or worn out on me. So, if you don't misplace any, a package of Tactical Clips will last a LONG time.
Like most tackle - sizing is important. For many (like myself) a 50lb rated clip is too small for some lures and too difficult to manipulate (just like many small snap swivels). And, like snap swivels, you can waste a lot of money ordering online if the weight rating is good but the product is too small or too large for your application.
I use 75lb Tactical Angler clips for both freshwater and inshore targeting of anything from large smallmouth to tarpon.
I also use 100lb inshore for heavier rigs or larger lures.
I sometimes use 125lb for extra-large inshore and surfcasting lures.
