For 1 oz weighted lures, I don't think you can match the casting distance on any other popper of the same weight. It has a very loud rattle.

I haven't quite figured out how to use these properly. When it's out in the distance, it stays under the water when you try to pop so you don't get any water splash, just mostly bubble trail. When it's closer to you and you hold the rod high, you can get the little splashes and hear the rattle.

Either way, I love it. The hardware on it is good so definitely something different to have in your tackle box. Wish they came in the 5 inch version.

Fantastic little popper. Just got it a few days ago and first time out with it got 3 stripers. Casts great looks amazing and throws good water. Also cheaper then most other small sized bass poppers.

This plug has worked great for me this spring. Bass and blues hit this plug hard.

This is a great popper lure. It has the perfect weight and balance when casting and retrieving. Makes a big splash and a lot of noise. I haven't caught a fish with it yet, but I won't blame that on the lure.
