While rigging my new "marsh" boat I was very disappointed in the quality of the rod holders now carried by the local and and national retail stores. Admittedly it's been awhile since i last purchased a set of rod holders but most of what I found was single piece, injection molded plastic junk. that I had no place for my new toy. So off to the internet I went and found what I was looking for at TackleDirect and at a great price to boot.
