Good but the 380s are worth the upgrade
January 2, 2020
I had the 280s installed two years ago and I am pretty happy with them. However I wish I had spent more money and got the 380s. Climbing on the gunnels to adjust these in chop is not fun.

Functionally these work well and are solid. I bought the 15' polls for mine. I never used outriggers before and I bought mine because I don't have room for planer boards on my boat. I get a pretty good spread but in windy conditions I have to take down the outrigger setup because the lines fowl on turns. This is not a knock on these outriggers but might be a factor depending on how you want to use them.
Pros
  • Very well made.
Cons
  • You'll need to climb on the gunnel to adjust them.
