They fit perfectly and protect the reel while mounted on the rod completely without having to remove any parts of the reel. The only improvement I can recommend would be to add slit openings on top of the larger covers to allow access to the reel harness lugs. Be sure to check ahead of time with TackleDirect to confirm the correct recommended size(s) for your reel(s).
