These stinger rigs feature a 28 inch main leader of 40lb steel wire connected to a 2/0 J-hook. Stemming from the J-hook is a 6 inch long secondary leader connected to a #4 4X strong Mustad treble hook. Simply rig the j hook through the nose of your bait fish, and attach the treble hook near the dorsal fin. Using this wire stinger rig will dramatically increase your hook-up ratio and landing percentages, and will save you a lot of time and tackle when targeting bluefish, kingfish, barracuda, and any other game fish that can easily slice through mono or fluorocarbon.
