Sunline Assassin FC Fluorocarbon Line is the first of Suneline's premium lineup of fluorocarbon line to be released in the US using their advanced P-Ion technology. P-Ion processing improves attributes such as slickness and abrasion resistance by chemically altering the line's surface to allow resin processing to bond at a molecular level. This processing increases line performance and allows the line to retain key characteristics longer. Assassin FC Fluorocarbon achieves near invisibility in the water, allowing for stealthy lifelike presentations without having to sacrifice on strength and sensitivity.

Great FC line

Sunline is my go to brand for all my non braid fishing line. Between This and the Sniper, there isn't much else anyone would need in the way of Flouro. I use the Assassin on all my Baitcasters and the Sniper on my spinning set ups. They both handle well and are very manageable in those applications. Both offer excellent abrasion resistance and knot strength is good as well.
Pros
- Casts well. supple, great knot strength and abrasion resistance.
Cons
- expensive and needs to be replaced at least once per season if you you fish regularly (although that is the nature of fluorocarbon and not a unique "con" for the Sunline product)

Quality fluorocarbon line

I tried the twenty pound Sunline Assassin after trying mono and flouro coated line. This line is fantastic fir the price. I use it for casting spinner baits and bladed jigs mostly. Great line for the price.

Fantastic fishing line

I got into bass fishing this year and bought several baitcasters and tried fluorocarbon coated line. I did not like it so I went with mono and had some success but wanted try a full fluorocarbon line. I tried the Sunline Assassin in twenty pound test and really liked it so I tried fifteen pound Sunline Assassin. Like it a lot I throw crankbaits and lighter lures on it with issues. Great line for the price.

Very slim profile compared to other companies I've used in the past. Also, little line memory compared to others I've used.
