Sufix Performance Braid is designed with exclusive Y6 Digital Braiding Technology. This produces a quieter, round, thin, and smooth braided line. This braid line is the easiest to handle and longest casting braid out there on the market today. Sufix Performance Braid is the best choice in braided line as it provides outstanding sensitivity, a low stretch for fast hooksets and of course is ultra-abrasion resistant. This line won't break or fray no matter what fight you're up against or in heavy cover. This braid has been tested and proven under torturous conditions. It handles beautifully in all fishing situations, for all species, with all tackle... even on spinning reels.

  • Casts a mile, even on spinning reels
  • Virtually trouble free
  • Resists wind knots
  • Ultra-abrasion resistant
  • Super sensitive braid

Great Braid

I have been using the 65# test Sufix Performance Braid for a couple of years now with excellent results. Decided I wanted to spool more on my Abu Garcia 7000iC3's for some balloon fishing I do. The 50# test is working fine for this. Great line at a good price!

I use this for backing smaller tuna reels and on a set of spinners that I fish offshore with. Excellent strength and small diameter.

Perfect for High Capacity Reels
July 24, 2016
Stiff and round-ish which makes for good usage in deep water situations. It also packs onto the spool easier and tighter than others I've used.
Cons
  • Some color will transfer onto your gloves when spooling up. Dunno what effect that may have underwater...

An excellent value, for your dollar$.

No frills, braided line. I am using it for trolling due to its smaller diameter and higher strength. This is my 1st go round with braided line. Seems ok so far, comes off the spool nice, no loops or memory and ties easy enough. Definitely use a mono top shot or at least a mono leader.
Pros
  • Great strength to diameter
  • Lasts longer than mono
  • A better feel when jigging or live bait fishing
Cons
  • A little more expensive than mono
  • Can cut your hands when handled
  • May not be compatible with your rod/reel combo

High Quality Braid

I use this line with one of my offshore boat rod and reels to catch large catfish at my local lake. Hope to get this setup into some altlantic
water for some tuna fishing this year. The line has served me well, it has zero memory and is very strong. It does tend to fade in color a
little faster than some other braids that I use.
Pros
  • Strong
  • Casts well
Cons
  • color fades quicker than some other brands.
