This Spreader Bar is made of high quality 3/32 titanium, giving incredible action to all ten of the 10" machine lures. The center is a 5" bird that creates a large splash that is sure to attract any large pelagic. We use 200 lb test LP mono, a 350 lb test ball bearing snap swivel, and an 8/0 SS Mustad Hook. At the end of the day, simply wash the rig off in the supplied mesh bag, and store till next trip. Available in Green, Purple, Rainbow, Zucchini, and Glow.

recently tried bar past weekend after i lost a few other spreaders to corrosion and getting broken in half... incredibly durable splash bar that survived a double strike without bending/breaking or even losing lures... lure quality is TOP NOTCH! not sure where strikepoint pulled these from, but they are incredibly well built and great tracking lures. pulled 8 yellowfin on saturday, this bar was responsible for 6 alone! WIN-WIN strikepoint! will be purchasing another in the future!

Do all of the squids have hooks or just the center trailing squid? If they dont all have hooks, why not add them?

The only squid that has the hook is the trailing squid. Most spreader bars are designed to only have the trailing squid rigged with a hook. The theory is that the squid separated from the main school gets hit the most.

I would not add a trolling weight to this spreader bar. It is designed to stay on the surface and the weight may impede its action.
