Mixed Feelings
November 21, 2018
Comfortable and good fit. However, the gloves don't keep hands warm in low temperatures and braided line quickly cuts through neoprene material when worn while casting. Material was torn through on second surf fishing trip. Ok if fishing moderate temperatures and if not used while casting with braid.
Pros
  • Comfort and good wrist coverage
Cons
  • Won't keep hands warm in low temperatures.
  • Braided line cuts through neoprene material easily.

Best pair of gloves I own
October 22, 2017
These gloves are simply great. I have very large hands and have to buy in the xxl size and even then I am still short for room in the wrists most of the time. These gloves fit perfect! just enough room through the knuckles and palm, while the wrist seals are only close enough to ensure a tight fit but not restrict blood flow. (gloves that fit too close to the wrist restrict blood flow and will make your hands get colder faster) Dexterity with these gloves is also great.. They are just thick enough to keep your hands plenty warm without being so thick you get that "squirmy" feeling when holding railings and the like. I spent hours looking for a pair of xxl neoprene gloves at an affordable price, that fit my hands properly. When I got these, I liked them so much I ordered a second pair.
Pros
  • Proper Fit
  • XXL Sizing
  • Warm
  • Good Dexterity
  • Modest Pricing

Best fit of the Stormr Glove Line
October 2, 2014
Great glove, protection from line cuts, very good dexterity.
Cons
  • I like the long cuff that integrates with the jacket. If you don't wear the stormr strykr jacket though it would be good to have a cuff with a strap. I would like that when just wearing the wetsuit.

Excellent ALL AROUND GLOVE
May 22, 2013
The grip, warmth and waterproof in the winter months of fishing is excellent. Purchased the typhoon gloves for fishing in the winter months down in NC originally but have used them for fishing year around and have even found myself shoveling snow with them. I have tried many different types of gloves and have found it hard to find a pair that fit my all around need while fishing.
