Two Seasons
February 10, 2022
I brought these gloves for surf fishing and they do keep your hands warm, and the Kevlar finger tips are ideal when casting braided line. However, after two seasons of early spring and late fall fishing the gloves began to tear at the seam where the palm meets the adjustable wrist closer.
Pros
  • Good fit, warm and Kevlar tips.
Cons
  • They did not hold up as well as I would like.

Perfect fit, durable, great for wetsuiting
January 23, 2016
This is the second time I purchased these. So far first pair lasted me 2 seasons of hardcore wetsuit surfcasting, Montauk and Block. Great sticky grip even when wet. Keeps hands relatively warm, even when wet. Great kevlar casting fingertip means hours of comfortable, safe casting w/ braid, not having to deal with hockey tape that inevitably pulls off after it gets wet. Stormr makes quality gear.
Pros
  • Durable; good grip when wet; kevlar casting fingertip, warm when wet

These 2 mm gloves are not all that warm. They are ok for a chilly day but not a cold one. As other reviewers have mentioned, the seams are bulky.

Really comfortable warm gloves
December 23, 2015
The gloves are nice and warm, not too thick but it does take some getting used to especially holding a rod and reel.they are waterproof (tested it). I havent worn them outside since we are having really warm weather, but they look like they will handle to extreme cold. Pleased with the purchase
Pros
  • Windproof
  • Waterproof
  • Warm
  • Velcro straps are pretty good quality
  • Sizing runs a bit large
Cons
  • Other than the price, nothing at all

Im not a fan of wearing gloves but these are ok. They fit tight but i guess they have to be, so you can still use your fingers. I would recommend them.
