OK-not great

I have always been a fan of Star rods. I recently purchased the 7 6 Stellar surf SG276IS and am not overly impressed. But section in really not long enough and is way to thin. Rod feels whippy and I am nervous casting the higher end of the lure rating as I think it could snap. Not really a surf stick-more of a light tackle inshore rod.
