Rod held up to 60 pound tarpon with ease. Top notch Fuji guides and reel seat. Beautiful finishing. Overall great rod.

What is the lure rating for medium heavy rod SKT1540S72? 

Also do you know what the weight is of the rod?

Hi AdrianFish, Star states that the Sequence boat rods do not have a lure weight rating and the weight of the rod is around 16oz. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with!
