Love this rod!

After much research looking for a rod that is best for my small hands, I purchased the St. Croix VIS76HF and I'm so happy I did. The weight balance of the rod plus my Shimano Stella FJ STLC5000XGFJ Spinning Reel is perfect. This is my go-to setup for bay fishing. Note, I wear size 6 gloves, and gripping and holding the rod has given me no hand fatigue.
Pros
  • Great rod for women with small hands.
  • Beautiful color!
  • Awesome fighting Bull reds!
Cons
  • Nothing.

I have been using the rod in the Northeast for schoolie bass and squid, but can't wait to try it on larger bass and bonito. It has a very sensitive tip and casting is phenomenal

The 7’6” MH is a versatile inshore rod that allows me to toss a variety of plugs and soft plastics in almost any situation. I have it paired with a 5000 size Daiwa reel.
