The ocean can be a cruel, unforgiving place. An environment where good looks earn you no favors. A place where any margin of error is latitude for failure. A place where on manyoccasions only a new Legend Salt offshore rod will survive. These premium-quality SCII graphite blanks are designed using St. Croix's proprietary IPC tooling technology and strengthened internally with ART. Each blank is also thermofused with our new NSi (Nano Silica) resin, formulated from a revolutionary new 3M Matrix Resin technology. In other words, we've loaded these bad boys with every ounce of technology at our rod building disposal before we finish them off with the best guides, reel seats and grips. In the end, you're looking at an offshore saltwater rod that devours anything else you'll find.

Bought this to match up to my small Van Stahl surf reel. Will throw up to 3 oz lures with ease. Great for barracuda and other medium game species. Two pieces for easy transport. Great value price.
