Great little rod!
November 14, 2021
Picked this one up for small streams and creeks. It is a nicely built rod, extremely light, and easy to transport. The action is what I expected for an ultralight for this size. It hasn’t reached “Trout Annihilator” status yet, but it definitely is doing a good job so far!!
Pros
  • Very light, nimble action, great looking rod!
Cons
  • None so far!

Well made, but a little too light for my applications
November 30, 2014
The rod is well made and super light. I casts like a dream, but the action is not fast enough and does not have enough backbone for may application. I use it for trout fishing in western North Carolina streams using artificial lures and it is sometimes hard to detect a strike, especially in swifter waters.
Pros
  • Well built, super light and affordable. Casts accurately.
Cons
  • A little hard to detect due to it not having fast enough action.
