It is well-made, light, and portable. The storage tube looks good and has a carry handle. I wish there is a shoulder strap, though. There are instructions under the lid of the storage tube describing where and how each section goes in to the tube. Worth the money.

The tag line "Best rods on earth " lives up to it. This travel rod far exceeds my expectations for a breakdown rod. Packs easy enough in its supplied tube. Rod is light and fast action. Absolutely love this rod.

Great Saltwater Travel Rod

I have been using this rod for a few years now when traveling to Florida on vacation. I walk with it on the plane and have no problems. I actually walk with two cases. Great for inshore or on a charter boat. Paired with a Penn Spinfisher V 4500, it is a great setup. I also have the 7' M version. Can't go wrong with St. Croix...
