Awesome Rod
February 24, 2021
I love this rod !!! I've caught everything from mangrove snappers, muttons, yellowtails, you name it. I've put it through a beating and it's still slaying fish. I have it paired with a penn spinfisher vi 4500 live liner. 20lbs power pro braid. Gets the job done
Pros
  • Everything !
Cons
  • None at all

Nice rods

Pretty nice rods. I suspect they don't hold a candle to the LT rods, but they seem to be comparable to the Tackle Industries rods I've used at a similar price. Split grip does make me like them a little better than the TI rods.

Best Inshore Rods

Fishing inshore you need a rod that's not going to let you down weather you hook up to tarpon or an amberjack. MOJO Inshore spinning rods are where it's at and I HIGHLY recommend.

Cons
  • I would have liked a bit more cork on the butt section.

Excellent fishing rod

Well made and balanced fishing rod as always from St Croix. Can cast 20lb braid a mile. Fished 20+ mph winds with zero wind knots. Amazing! Although for me, had to get used to the fast actiion. Lost quite a few of those soft mouthed Spanish mackerel while bringing them up the pier.
Pros
  • Quality, balance, castability

My third one
February 12, 2018
Love this rod, just purchased my third one. Great for light, med light, flats fishing. No need to bring multiple weighted rods because the St Croix is as diverse as the fishing is. I mainly use for Snook, Reds, and Trout, but have caught Grouper, Snapper, and even a shark on my St Croix inshore rods.
