Great short Medium/Light Rod

Great price for a ice rod for fishing walleye or pike. I was looking for a short rod to fish in my Shappell Bay Runner. Very comfortable sitting in the hand. I wanted that option of fishing bigger fish and paired with my Shimano Sienna reel and 4lb Ice Braid it gives me that option. Love the design and the color. Very sturdy backbone for a thin short rod.

Mojo 28 inch medium light ice rod

No more adding a spring bobber!!! These rods are tough enough to handle 5lbs. walleyes, but sensitive enough to feel the lite bite of a perch great investment. Well worth the price.

Hello, I was just wondering how to put the reel on this rod because I don't see an adjustable knob or like a way to fit on a reel. Also, what is the max size reel you can put on?
1 Answer
There is a twist cap on the top of the reel seat that comes down towards the reel to fasten the reel to the rod. I would only use smaller reels such a Shimano SY500FL Symetre FL Spinning Reel for example.

Billy, Hello There is a reel seat on the rod. I would not suggest going with a reel bigger then a 500 size.
