For a free hat with a rod? Sure. But I certainly wouldn't pay for a hat that is frayed on the bill. I also won't be buying distressed blue jeans anymore. I suppose if that's your thing, maybe this is for you.

Since it was free I figured these would be pretty cheap, but these are actually pretty nice hats. My wife loves hers. The only downside is that they are a little small for me, but I have a big head.

I got this free buying my St Croix rod. Good quality and I think it is worth its value of $16. If you ask me to buy this I would not. Not because I think it's too expensive, just that I have preference for those soft quick dry polyester type rather than a cotton type

I had just orderd my St Croix Avid Inshore VIS70MLF and I got this free hat with it. Its a great fit and looks amazing! I was wondering how long will this free hat promo last? I want another Avid Inshore come spring time (April) and Id like to give the hat to my buddy who only fishes St Croix. Thanks for all the help!

From the image of this cap, it looks like it is "distressed". Can you confirm as it does not state this in the description? If it is, do you have a version available that is "non-distressed"?

Jim, This hat is in fact distressed, we carry a couple different styles of St. Croix hats not in the exact same style as this one, in non distressed look.
