I have both 125# TA and Spro clips and they are the same length but Spro is wider and are easier to hold due to the extra width. Easier hold onto the clip when hooking/unhook the lure...probably helps in the dark but I try not to change lures in the dark too often.
There is a tad more room for lure movement but I have not noticed a huge difference using a plug, jig or darter. I'll have to do a side by side test w/same lure but I'd rather just fish than figure out the minute differences.
These Spro clips are more costly than TA clips, seem just as strong and for the little difference I may not switch. If Spro was all that was available I would buy these hands down as the quality is excellent.

these are much more expensive than TA clips. and i really havnt noticed a difference between the two in use.

As expected from SPRO, these are high quality snaps. I use these while surfcasting poppers or twitch baits. They allow all lures to maintain great action.

I keep a tiny 50lb. swivel on the end of my braid at all times. And I keep one of these snaps on the end of my leaders at all times. And when I break apart my 12' Tiralego down at the end of the day, all I have to do is disconnect the swivel from the snap so I can transport the 2pc rod easily without cutting and retying all that braid. Makes life much easier!

The snaps are very high quality. I like the wider base for more movement on the lures.

I like Spro Prime clips because of the lure attachment point. This wider area allows for freer lure movement not found to the same degree with similar products.

I love the idea of quickly changing out my lure and preserving my leader material. However the first fish I caught came off (luckily into my kayak). I thought it just spit the hook... not so much, it twisted and the lure came completely off of the snap ring. I have since had a couple issues with them while work larger jerk baits. I have not lost any lures, but I have had them close to coming off.
