The SpoolTek Fatty Curly has a short, thick, baitfish profile designed to emulate pilchards, croakers, pinfish, finger mullet, herring, threadfin shad, gizzard shad, bunker and others. It features a curly swim tail for increased and versatile action. The lure's most unique feature is the internal spool containing a stainless steel leader that will separate from the lure when a fish strikes. This allows anglers to use lighter leaders attached to the eyelet of the lure, thus enhancing the action while preventing breakoffs due to the internal leader.
