Great line has the benefits of braid thin diameter cast good for casting etc. but is less viable underwater.
Pros
  • Strong and smooth passes through guides very well and great for tying knots
Cons
  • None what so ever

I don't see a difference between this or Power Pro but this is great line too
November 20, 2019
Casts well. I see no difference between this and my power pro line with the one exception that the color hasn't faded from the line (since it's white I don't think I'd notice the fade the same as if it were green). Would be five stars if it didn't cost so much
Pros
  • good product
Cons
  • cost

When the Spectra lines came out I wanted some on my Garcia 5500 so bad...I bought some 50 # test with an incredible 10# diameter. I still use that line today!

I bought this line to load on my 13 y/o sons Okuma spinning reels. We are running 12# drag and consistently land large 36" Black Drum & Redfish without excessive stress on the fish. This line is easy to work with and the knots hold tight! I switched over to using Springer knots in late 2018, and they work great with this line.
Pros
  • Ease of use
  • Once the knot is tied & set, forget about it. It will hold.
  • Very small diameter for strength.
Cons
  • -the line may cut into your fingers when tightening knots or leadering fish. This goes for all lines though...just be aware.

Long, long distance casting
September 15, 2017
I got turned on to this braid by a guide in the Tampa area. Get ready to launch! I advise casting toward open water for a few before targeting specific pockets and cuts because you will surely overshoot your mark until you are used to the smoothness, effortless, distance casting that this line provides gliding through your guides. The diameter per pound strength ratio is insane allowing you to fresh and saltwater fish with much heavier tests than other lines, allowing you to use the same reel w/o changing expensive lines. It lasts forever and is minimal on wind knots compared to other braids. I have it on 5 reels currently and recommended it to a novice who doesn't know how good he has it being his first braided line he's ever casted. Get this line and enjoy!!

ITS NOT TRANSLUCENT I CAN SEE THIS BETTER THAN HIGH VIS AND SO CAN THE FISH!! maybe 20 to 30 feet down it will disappear but, unless the sun is in your face then its very easy to see.
Pros
  • strong/durable and i think it will do good in much deeper clear-ish water.
Cons
  • extremely high viability

its very strong and in my opinion is some of the best braid out there i will continue to buy spiderwire for nearly all my fishing needs. with the invisibraid i would stick with 20lb or 30lb (i have 40lb its the size of 12lb mono) any higher and it looks like your fishing with flyline. casts very smoothly and is able to go quit far.

I was introduced to this line by a guide in Tampa Bay and was smitten. This stuff casts a Flippin' mile with ease and smooth flow through my spinning rod guides!!! It just is effortlessly perfect! Spool it, cast it, and enjoy. Especially paired with a Shimano Stradic C14 reel in any size. Saltwater, Freshwater, doesn't matter.......tough, smooth, and casts and fishes and holds up like a dream and ties knots with ease. Get this line!!!
