Great mfd, especially for the price

I have 2 of these on the dash, and they have been great. I run one with the Active Imaging 3-in-1 transom mount transducer, and that takes care of all of my side scan, and down scan needs. The other unit runs a thru-hull Airmar B60, which gives me a nice picture at speed. I run autopilot and radar through a NEP2, and aside from sharing transducers these little units do it all. I couldn't be happier for the price.

Have simrad go 9 on my dash and is the most user friendly unit I have had very fast and clear to read huge fan of the go series

What depth can we reach using the medium-high down scan TM transducer?
Can i use an TM 258 with this instrument? if yes do i need a special cable for connection?

2-400 feet down scan. 600 to 1000 ft depending on conditions with CHIRP sonar frequencies. Yes but you will only get 600watts and need a 9 pin adapter. Also, this is a very large transducer.

What frequency 50/200
1 Answer
50/200 are standard frequencies for most salt water sounding applications. 50Khz being for deeper water, and 200Khz used generally in more shallow water.

What bronze or stainless through-hull transducer will give me optimum use of the GO9 XSE

You will not be able to take advantage of Sides can with a Thru Hull but will be able to use Down scan and traditional FF frequencies. You will need an
XSONIC Bronze HDI Transducer Thru Hull 50/200 455/800 with 9 pin connector and 10M Cable
First you will need to find your hull angle.
