CHIRP technology delivers depth penetration and target resolution superior to standard single-frequency sonar by utilizing pulsed transmissions across a range of frequencies. This Simrad transducer is able to give you a clear view of the area under your boat and deliver very accurate depth readings by tilting ceramic elements inside the housing, aiming the beam straight down without needing a fairing block.
