The bronze, thru-hull Simrad 000-11063-001 B175L-20 Low CHIRP Transducer is ideal for sportfishing and commercial boats up to 25ft (8M) in length. The 000-11063-001 is a single-channel transducer that offers only Low CHIRP, making it perfect for depth penetration.

The Simrad 000-11063-001 B175L-20 is able to measure both temperature and depth in a single package, and easily installs with just one connection to your multifunction display or echosounder module. CHIRP technology delivers depth penetration and target resolution superior to standard single-frequency sonar by utilizing pulsed transmissions across a range of frequencies. This Simrad transducer is able to give you a clear view of the area under your boat and deliver very accurate depth readings by tilting ceramic elements inside the housing, aiming the beam straight down without needing a fairing block.

I bought a Lawrence HDS 9 it came with transom chirp/structure and downscan transom mount. I have a twin diesel 33 foot express cruiser and can't use the transom mount (too much disturbance) what transducer should I but to get the most use out of my unit ? Thank you. Jack Draper

Yes this will work. It will be optimal mainly with low frequency CHIRP and should be used to Fish the bottom water column. We do not recommend this for shallow fishing or pelagic trolling.
